MORTGAGE-BACKED SECURITIES
This advanced law course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the legal, regulatory, and transactional aspects of mortgage-backed securities (MBS). The course will explore the fundamental principles and legal theories associated with MBS, including the origination, securitization, and trading processes. Students will analyze case law, statutory regulations, and industry practices, taking into account the changes in the field post the 2008 financial crisis.
