UNDERSTANDING ONLINE ADVERTISING REGULATION AND COMPLIANCE
This course provides guidance on three major areas of federal regulation of online advertising:
1) the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) dot com Disclosures guidelines (“dot com Disclosures”),
2) the CAN-SPAM Act, and
3) the FTC Endorsement Guides (Endorsement Guidelines).
This course will focus on three areas of U.S. federal regulation that specifically target online advertising, as they generally serve as a jumping-off point for other types of US-based regulation of online advertising.
