SECURED TRANSACTIONS
This advanced course on “Secured Transactions” is designed for law students interested in deepening their understanding of the theory and practice of secured transactions under the U.S. legal system. We will focus on Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), which governs secured transactions in personal property. The course will cover the creation, perfection, priority, and enforcement of security interests in various types of collateral, including goods, accounts, and intellectual property. It will also delve into specific issues such as debtor and creditor rights, default, bankruptcy, and international secured transactions.
