Exceptional leaders are exceptional communicators. Whether addressing employees, investors, customers, boards of directors, the media, or the public, leaders must communicate with clarity, confidence, authenticity, and purpose. Public speaking is not simply the ability to deliver a speech—it is the ability to inspire action, build trust, communicate vision, influence decision-making, manage crises, and represent an organization with professionalism and credibility.
Public Speaking for Leaders is a practical, executive-oriented course designed to equip Junior MBA students with the communication skills necessary to become confident and persuasive leaders in any professional setting. Rather than focusing on memorization or theatrical performance, the course emphasizes executive communication, leadership presence, audience engagement, storytelling, persuasive speaking, crisis communication, media interactions, virtual presentations, executive briefings, and strategic messaging.
Students will explore speech design, audience psychology, executive presence, vocal delivery, body language, persuasive communication, presentation strategy, handling questions, digital presentations, artificial intelligence as a communication tool, and leadership communication during organizational change. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on practical business application, enabling future leaders to communicate with confidence and create lasting influence across every level of an organization.
