LEGAL ASPECTS OF BANKRUPTCY AND INSOLVENCY
This advanced course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the legal frameworks, theories, and practical aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency law. Through an exploration of statutes, and case law, students will develop a nuanced understanding of the financial, social, and legal complexities associated with both personal and corporate bankruptcy and insolvency. The course will cover a variety of topics, including chapters of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, international insolvency laws, debtor and creditor rights, as well as ethical considerations.
