Exceptional organizations are built by exceptional teams. While strategy, technology, and innovation are important, sustained business success ultimately depends on leaders who can attract talent, align diverse individuals around shared goals, foster collaboration, manage conflict, inspire accountability, and cultivate cultures of continuous improvement. High-performing teams do not emerge by chance—they are intentionally designed and skillfully led.
Leading High-Performing Teams is a practical, executive-oriented course designed to prepare Junior MBA students to lead teams that consistently achieve superior performance in dynamic business environments. Rather than focusing on abstract leadership theories, the course emphasizes practical leadership behaviors, organizational psychology, communication, motivation, talent development, performance management, decision-making, conflict resolution, and team culture.
Students will explore team formation, trust-building, motivation systems, psychological safety, delegation, coaching, diversity of thought, virtual collaboration, artificial intelligence in team management, accountability systems, organizational culture, and executive leadership. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on practical application, enabling future leaders to build teams that innovate, execute, adapt, and sustain excellence over time.
