INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE
This course is designed for students with a comprehensive understanding of basic real estate law who wish to deepen their understanding of the legal implications, complexities, and nuances involved in investing in real estate. The course will cover an array of topics including, but not limited to, real estate investment structures, legal due diligence, financing and security, tax implications, zoning and land use issues, environmental considerations, landlord-tenant laws, and dispute resolution. Emphasis will be placed on case studies, practical examples, and contemporary legal challenges.
