FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY (FINTECH) LAW
This course will explore the legal and regulatory challenges posed by the rapid growth of the Fintech industry. Fintech is changing the landscape of traditional financial services and presents unique legal and regulatory challenges. This course will examine the legal implications of Fintech business models, including crowdfunding, peer-to-peer lending, and robo-advisory services, as well as emerging trends such as cryptocurrencies, blockchain, AI and ML, and payments and e-commerce. Through case studies, discussions, and assignments, we will examine the legal and regulatory frameworks for Fintech across major jurisdictions and analyze the ethical considerations in Fintech.
