Digital Assets and SEC Regulation, an online law course.
This course focuses on digital assets and activities that are subject to securities regulation. In this course, we will discuss:
1, the objectives and policy rationale of securities laws and regulations;
2, SEC initiatives to address specific regulatory challenges arising from certain unique digital asset features, that raise questions concerning the adequacy of the existing regulatory framework; and
3, policy issues for congressional and industry consideration in five selected areas: initial coin offerings, stablecoins, digital asset exchange-traded funds, digital asset custody, and digital asset trading.
