This course provides an immersive and practical exploration of deposition-taking and trial advocacy—critical components of modern civil and criminal litigation. It is designed to develop and sharpen the legal, analytical, strategic, and performative skills required to effectively prepare and examine witnesses, present legal arguments, and persuasively communicate in courtroom settings.

Focusing on both the discovery phase (depositions) and trial preparation and presentation, this course integrates litigation tactics, evidence rules, witness psychology, and trial dynamics to give students a 360-degree view of how lawyers develop case narratives, control the flow of information, and advocate before judges and juries.
